Sea Changed - Oceans

This song Oceans (where feet may fail) by Hillsong United meant so much to me during the most challenging period of my life.

I first heard this wonderful track after being diagnosed with stage four breast cancer and in the months that followed, this song worked its way into my consciousness until it became like the soundtrack to my life.

Oceans describes so poetically the way in which God performs his greatest works in us when we are at our weakest; and the indescribable peace that we are given when we finally let go and recognise that our lives are not our own. And in forcing me to come to terms with my own mortality, God took me to that place where my trust had to be without borders and it was in oceans deep, that I came closer to him that I could ever have imagined.

I pray that whatever challenges that you face in life that this wonderful song will help you too.
